1-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, a low pressure area has formed over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been islolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.01 inches in Coco Island, 0.63 inch in Tatkon, 0.16 inch each in Magway and Hakha, 0.08 inch in Kawthaung, 0.05 inch in Pindaya and 0.04 inch each in Lashio and Nyaungshwe.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards and intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 410 Nautical miles Southwest of Coco Island (Myanmar), 415 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Chennai(India), 445 Nautical miles Southeast of Kakinada (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may intensify into a Cyclonic Storm may form over the Southwest Bay and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal on 27-10-2025, Severe Cyclonic Storm may form on 28-10-2025 and may cross Andhra Pradesh Coast on that night. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay, partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th October 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Saging Region and Kayah, Eastern Shan States. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Taninthayi Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 mph. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
