BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 20th JUNE, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Magway Regions, Rakhine State, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Nothern and Southern) Shan and Chin States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be slight to moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 - 12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama and off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (4 - 7) feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
