BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Typhoon “KALMAEGI” over the South China Sea has moved West-Northwestwards and it is centered at about 330 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Da Nang(Vietnam).It is forecast likely continue to move West and may cross south of Da Nang, the Vietnam coast at tonight. Thereafter, it is likely to move West-Northwestwards and may continue to cross boundary area of Vietnam and Laos as a severe tropical storm during next 24 hours.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6^th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State,Scattered in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady and Chin State,  fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayah and Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Fairly widespread to widespread rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States.
