SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayin, Southern Shan States, isolated in Bago, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Mon, Eastern Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above November average temperatures in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah, Mon, Rakhine States, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, (Northern and Southern)Shan States, 5°C above November average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 12.0°C in Hakha, 13.2°C in Loilin, 14.5°C in Homalin, 14.9°C in Pyinoolwin, 15.3°C in Taunggyi, 16.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan) and 16.4°C in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded 1.73 inches in Dawei, 0.75 inch each in Tharrawady and Myawaddy, 0.55 inch in Kyaunggon, 0.52 inch in Kawkareik, 0.43 inch in Kawthaung, 0.39 inch in Myeik, 0.32 inch in Ye, 0.28 inch in Einme and 0.12 inch in Hinthada.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 9th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Northern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and widespread in  the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach 25-30 m.p.h. Wave height will be about 7-9 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered to fairly widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Shan States.
