SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and scattered in Kayin State and isolated in Mon States. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, 2°C above November average temperatures in Mon, Rakhine States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.0°C in Hakha, 8.0°C in Tiddim, 8.4°C in Loilin, 9.8°C in Pinlaung, 10.1°C in Heho, 10.4°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 11.0°C in Lashio, 12.0°C in Homalin and 12.5°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.30 inches in Myeik, 0.51 inch in Ye, 0.32 inch in Kawkareik and 0.12 inch in Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Kayin, Mon States and isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States. FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 15th November 2025: Generally fair weather.
