SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah States, isolated in Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayin, Northern Shan States and Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 2°C above November average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Eastern Shan States, 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and 5°C above November average temperature in Northern Shan State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 6.2°C in Hakha, 8.0°C in Tiddim, 10.0°C in Putao, 11.0°C in Homalin, 12.0°C in Loilin, 12.5°C in Machanbaw and 13.2°C in Mingin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.01 inches in Nyaungshwe, 1.78 inchs in Tachileik, 1.66 inch in Kengtung, 1.57 inches in Loilin, 1.48 inches in Mongping, 1.29 inches in Taunggyi, 1.06 inches in Laihka and 0.95 inch in Homein.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 20th November 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing Region and Chin State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Northern Shan State, scattered in Mandalay, Bago Regions and Kachin,  Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States.  Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin, Shan States.
