SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, scattered in Taninthayi Regions, isolated in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Northern Shan States and Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below November average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 2°C above November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and 3°C to 4°C above November average temperatures in Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 7.0°C in Hakha, 10.8°C in Putao, 11.4°C in Loilin, 12.0°C each in Homalin and Machanbaw, 14.0°C in Mongyang, 14.3°C in Kalewa, 14.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan)and 14.6°C in Taunggyi. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.91 inch in Pyaw Bwe, 0.79 inch in Coco-Island, 0.63 inch in Loilin, 0.39 inch in Gyobingauk, 0.36 inch in Pinglong, 0.31 inch in Naypyitaw(Ottarathiri), 0.30 inch in Monghpyak and 0.28 inch in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri).
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the Andaman Sea and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21st November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, scattered in Northern Shan State and isolated in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
