SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below November average temperature in Chin State, 2°C below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayah, Southern Shan States and 2°C above November average temperature in Kachin State and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.5°C in Hakha, 5.4°C in Loilin, 7.4°C each in Namsan(Southern Shan) and Pinlaung, 9.0°C in Heho, 10.0°C in Taunggyi, 11.0°C in Mongyang, 11.2°C in Lashio and 11.7°C in Pyinoolwin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.20 inch in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 25th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Kayah, Chin, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Kayah, Chin, Shan States.
