BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca has moved Westwards and intensified into a Deep Depression. It is centered at about 300 Nautical miles South-Southwest of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Penang(Malaysia), 60 Nautical miles East of Kuta Makmur(Indonesia) and 400 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar (India). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and further intensify into a Cyclone Storm and may cross Northern parts of Indonesia. According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe pressure Area during next 12 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 36 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 26th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough seas will be experienced in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayah, Shan States.FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 26th November 2025: Generally fair weather.
