SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 7°C to 8°C below November average temperatures in Taninthayi Regon and Kayah, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, 5°C to 6°C below November average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Kayin, Mon States, 3°C to 4°C below November average temperatures in Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State, 2°C below November average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and about November average temperatures in Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States. The significant night temperatures were -0.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan),  1.0°C in Loilin, 2.4°C in Heho, 3.5°C in Hakha, 3.8°C in Pinlaung, 5.0°C in Lashio, 5.1°C in Loikaw, 5.5°C in Mongyang, 5.8°C in Taunggyi and 6.0°C each in Kengtung and Minesat.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards and now lies over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka. It is centered at about 800 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 160 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 55 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining and near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 12:30 hrs MST today, the severe tropical storm “KOTO” over the South China Sea has moved slowly West-Southwestwards and it is centered at about 180 Nautical miles East-Northeast of Nhatrang, Vietnam. It is likely to reach East coast of Vietnam on 2-12-2025.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th November 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Shan States.
