BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts has moved Northwards and it is centered at about 770 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 60 Nautical miles Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 170 Nautical miles North of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move nearly Northwards parallel to North Tamil Nadu- Puducherry coasts(India) during next 24 hrs. Weather is a few cloud over the Andaman Sea, North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the severe tropical storm “KOTO” over the South China Sea is downgraded into a tropical storm and it is centered at about 200 Nautical miles Northeast of Nhatrang, Vietnam. It is likely to reach East coasts of Vietnam on 2-12-2025.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 01st December 2025: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Shan States.
