SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain have been scattered in Taninthayi Region and Kayin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 2°C below December average temperatures in Kachin, Chin States and 2°C above December average temperatures in Kayah, Mon, Southern Shan States, 3°C above December average temperature in Eastern Shan State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.0°C in Hakha, 5.0°C in Putao, 5.7°C in Tiddim, 7.4°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.6°C in Machanbaw, 8.3°C in Loilin, 9.5°C each in Homalin and Mohnyin, 9.7°C each in Naungcho and Mongyang and 9.9°C in Hkamti. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.63 inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
