SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain have been fairly widespread in Kayin State and isolated in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region and Rakhine, Northern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below December average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C below December average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and 2°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, 3°C above December average temperature in Mon State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.2°C in Hakha, 4.0°C in Putao, 4.8°C in Tiddim, 6.2°C in Loilin, 6.8°C in Machanbaw, 8.8°C in Naungcho, 9.0°C in Mongyang, 9.2°C in Pinlaung, 9.3°C in Hkamti and 9.5°C each in Homalin and Mohnyin. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 0.04 inch each in Kawthaung and Myawaddy.
