SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain have been isolated in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and 2°C above December average temperatures in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan State, 3°C above December average temperature in Mon State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 3.0°C in Hakha, 5.0°C in Putao, 6.0°C in Tiddim, 6.6°C in Loilin, 7.3°C in Machanbaw, 8.8°C each in Hkamti and Mongyang, 9.0°C each in Lashio and Heho, 9.3°C in Homalin and 10.0°C in Namsan(Southern Shan). The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.20 inch in Kawthaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
