SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Easthern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, 2°C above December average temperatures in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States, 3°C above December average temperature in Rakhine State and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -0.5°C in Hakha, 4.5°C each in Tiddim and Heho, 5.0°C in Putao, 5.6°C in Loilin, 6.0°C in Pinlaung, 7.0°C in Machanbaw, 7.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 8.0°C in Mingin, 8.3°C in Naungcho and 8.9°C in Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th December 2025: Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Easthern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
