SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below December average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C above December average temperatures in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Southern Shan States, 3°C to 4°C above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Kayah, Northern Shan States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 4.5°C in Hakha, 5.2°C in Loilin, 6.3°C in Tiddim, 7.0°C each in Putao and Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.5°C in Mongyang, 7.6°C in Pinlaung, 8.5°C in Mingin, 9.3°C in Machanbaw and 9.8°C in Taunggyi.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd December 2025: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Shan States.
