SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, Weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C to 4°C below January average temperatures in Kayah and (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, 2°C below January average temperatures in Bago Region and Kayin, Rakhine States, 2°C above January average temperature in Chin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.1°C in Loilin, 2.2°C in Namsan (Southern Shan), 2.4°C in Heho, 3.4°C in Pinlaung, 4.3°C in Hakha, 5.5°C in Mongyang, 5.9°C in Hsipaw, 6.0°C in Tiddim, 6.1°C in Loikaw and 7.5°C in Putao.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea, South Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 2^ndJanuary 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan States.
