SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TO TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below January average temperature in Kayah State, 2°C below January average temperatures in Bago Region and Kayin, Rakhine, Southern Shan States and 2°C above January average temperature in Kachin State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.0°C in Hakha, 2.1°C in Loilin, 2.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 3.4°C in Heho, 4.0°C in Pinlaung, 4.5°C in Mongyang, 5.0°C in Tiddim, 6.2°C in Hsipaw, 6.9°C in Loikaw and 7.1°C in Lashio.

BAY IN FERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3^rdJanuary 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Eastern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
