BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hours MST today, yesterday’s the Land Depression which crossed the North Sri Lanka Coast has moved Westwards, reached over North Sri Lanka and adjoining Gulf of Mannar and it has downgraded as a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. It is likely continues to move Westwards and gradually weaken.. Weather is a few cloud over the over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th January 2026: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon,Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 11th January 2026: Generally fair weather.
