SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Bago Region and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 5°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C below January average temperatures in Kayin, Mon States and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Chin State, 3°C to 4°C above January average temperatures in Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Northern Shan State and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.0°C in Putao, 5.7°C in Loilin, 5.8°C in Hakha, 6.2°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 6.5°C in Tiddim, 6.7°C in Heho, 7.0°C in Mongyang, 7.7°C in Machanbaw, 8.8°C in Mohnyin and 9.0°C in Pinlaung.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay, a few cloud over the Southeast Bay and Central Bay and generally fair over the Andaman Sea and North Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 13th January 2026: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
