SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Mon, Eastern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C below January average temperature in Mon State and 2°C above January average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Southern Shan States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 5.3°C each in Putao and Hakha, 5.6°C in Loilin, 5.8°C in Tiddim, 6.0°C each in Hsipaw and Mongyang, 6.2°C in Lashio, 7.0°C in Machanbaw, 7.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.4°C in Pinlaung, 7.8°C in Heho and 8.0°C in Pyinoolwin.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and North Bay and a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th January 2026: Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Mon States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
