25-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Depression over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca almost stationary still persists. It is centered at about 285 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Kawthaung (Myanmar), 55 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Penang(Malaysia), 250 Nautical miles East of Banda Aceh (Indonesia) and  465 Nautical miles Southeast of Car Nicobar(India).According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of South Sri Lanka still persists. It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and become Well Marked Lowe  pressure Area during next 24 hours and further intensify into a depression during next 48 hours. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Central Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway and Yangon Regions, Shan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Bago Region and Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Myitkyina (1.93)inches, Yay (1.82)inches Phyarpon (1.77)inches, Myeik (1.62)inches,  Kyeikdon (1.60)inches, Putao and Hainggyigyun (1.57)inches each, Kalay and Dawei (1.53)inches each, Maungdaw and Hinthada (1.49)inches each, Kawthaung (1.47) inches, Hlaingbwe (1.46)inches, Mogaung (1.38)inches, Hkamti (1.30)inches and Pathein (1.22)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
