SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Ayeyarwady Region and Kayah, Chin, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin State, 3°C above January average temperature in Ayeyarwady Region and about average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.3°C in Hakha, 3.0°C in Heho, 3.4°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.0°C in Loilin, 5.8°C in Pinlaung, 6.0°C in Tiddim, 6.7°C in Lashio, 7.5°C in Hsipaw, 8.4°C in Mohnyin and 8.5°C each in Pyinoolwin and Loikaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 24th January 2026: Weather will be generally fair in Sagaing Region and Chin State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
