SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah, Chin, Rakhine, Eastern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 4°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions, 3°C above January average temperature in Kachin State and about average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 0.3°C in Hakha, 3.2°C in Heho, 3.5°C in Mongyang, 3.8°C in each Namsan(Southern Shan) and Loilin, 5.1°C in Lashio, 5.2°C in Tiddim, 5.8°C in Pinlaung, 7.0°C in Taunggyi, 8.0°C in Hsipaw and 8.2°C in Mingin.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 26th January 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
