SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below January average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C above January average temperatures in Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.0°C in Hakha, 4.5°C in Heho, 4.9°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.0°C in Mongyang, 5.6°C in Loilin, 6.0°C in Pinlaung, 6.3°C in Lashio, 6.5°C in Hsipaw, 7.3°C in Tiddim and 8.5°C each in Pyinoolwin and Nyaung Shwe.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay of Bengal, partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 30th January 2026: Light rain are likely to be isolated in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
