SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above January average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Kachin, Rakhine States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 1.9°C in Hakha, 3.5°C in Mongyang, 4.5°C in Heho, 5.3°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 5.5°C in Loilin, 7.0°C each in Lashio and Pinlaung, 7.5°C in Tiddim, 8.0°C in Hsipaw, 8.3°C in Pyinoolwin and 8.7°C in Minesat.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 1st February 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
