24-11-2025: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Strait of Malacca still persists. It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman Sea. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 4th JULY, 2018: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and Southern Shan State, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region, (Northern and Eastern) Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy falls in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Chin and Rakhine States.
