SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Eastern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C below February average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C above February average temperatures in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.4°C in Hakha, 4.0°C in Mongyang, 5.3°C in Heho, 6.3°C in Loilin, 6.5°C each in Tiddim and Namsan(Southern Shan), 7.2°C in Lashio, 8.0°C each in Putao and Pinlaung, 8.5°C in Hsipaw and 9.0°C in Nyaung Shwe.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 3rd February 2026: Isolated light rain are likely in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Eastern Shan States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
