SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in the whole country. Night temperatures were 2°C above February average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay Regions and 3°C to 4°C above February average temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine and Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 2.8°C in Hakha, 5.8°C each in Tiddim and Mongyang, 8.4°C in Loilin, 8.5°C in Namsan(Southern Shan), 8.7°C in Putao, 9.2°C in Lashio, 9.5°C each in Mohnyin and Hsipaw, 9.8°C in Machanbaw and 10.0°C each in Pinlaung and Heho.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 4th February 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
