BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 9th February 2026: Isolated light rain are likely in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and generally fair weather in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States.
