SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 3°C below February average temperatures in Chin, Rakhine States and 2°C below February average temperatures in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Southern Shan States and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were -1.5°C in Hakha, 4.4°C in Namsan (Southern Shan), 4.5°C in Heho, 5.0°C in Tiddim, 5.3°C in Mongyang, 5.4°C in Loilin, 6.0°C in Pinlaung, 7.0°C in Lashio, 7.4°C in Hsipaw and 9.0°C each in Machanbaw and Loikaw.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 16th February 2026: Isolated light rain or thundershowers are likely in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
