BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th February 2026: Isolated light rain or thundershowers are likely in Taninthayi Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Chin, Shan States.
