BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal has weaken. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over South Bay of Bengal, a few cloud the Andaman Sea and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 21St February 2026: Isolated light rain or thundershowers are likely in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago Region and Kayah, Eastern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
