BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southeast Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely continue to move eastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually. Weather is a few cloud over North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 25th February 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthayi Region. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
