SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Yangon, Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, (Northren and Eastern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were 2°C above March average temperature in Taninthayi Region and 2°C below March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were 37.2°C in Chauk, 36.6°C in Dawei, 36.5°C in Kawkareik, 36.3°C in Thanlyin, 36.2°C each in Shwekyin and Hpa-an, 36.0°C each in Taunggu, Pyay and Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and 35.8°C in Bago on 28-2-2026.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the North Bay and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
