SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Weather has been partly cloudy in Mandalay, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Northren Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C below March average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago Region and Northern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 37.9°C in Chauk, 36.9°C in Kawkareik, 36.5°C in Thanlyin, 36.4°C each in Thazi(Hlaingtat) and Pyay, 36.3°C in Kawthaung, 36.2°C in Hpa-an(Agro-Met) and 36.0°C each in Myingyan, Aunglan, Sinbyugyun, Myinmu, Hpa-an and Myawaddy on 1-3-2026. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.04 inch in Hkamti.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
