SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayah, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 2°C below March average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region, 3°C below March average temperature in Northern Shan State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 39.2°C in Minbu, 39.0°C in Chauk, 38.2°C in Magway, 37.6°C in Sinbyugyun, 37.5°C in Taungdwingyi, 37.4°C each in Pyay and Aunglan, 37.1°C in Kawkareik, 36.7°C in Myingyan and 36.5°C each in Yangon(Botahtaung), Yamethin, Thazi(Hlaingtat) and Phyu on 3-3-2026.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5^th March 2026: Isolated light rain or thundershowers are likely in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day tempereatures in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
