SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain have been isolated in Chin State. weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway Regions and Rakhine State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above March average temperature in Kachin State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 38.2°C in Chauk, 37.4°C in Kawkareik, 37.0°C in Pyay, 36.8°C each in Minbu, Myawaddy and Theinzayet, 36.7°C each in Yangon(Mingaladon), Yangon(Botahtaung) and Taunggu(Avia-Met) and 36.6°C each in Naypyitaw(Zayarthiri) and Taunggu on 4-3-2026.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6^th March 2026: Isolated light rain or thundershowers are likely in Kachin and Eastern Shan States. Degree of certainty is 60%. Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, (Northern and Southern)Shan States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated or thundershowers in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States.
