SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain have been isolated in Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine States and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above March average temperature in Kachin State, 2°C above March average temperature in Chin State and 2°C below March average temperatures in Yangon Region and Mon State and about March average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 38.3°C in Chauk, 37.9°C in Kawkareik, 37.6°C in Minbu, 37.0°C in Tada U(Avia-Met), 36.9°C in Sinbyugyun, 36.8°C each in Myingyan, Nyaung Oo and Myinmu, 36.7°C in Sagaing, 36.6°C in Zaung Tu, 36.5°C in Pyay and 36.4°C in Magway on 5-3-2026. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was 0.39 inch in Thaton.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
