BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea, a few cloud over the North Bay and South Bay of Bengal and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th March 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Kayah, (Southern and Eastern) Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago,Taninthayi Regions and Kachin,Kayah, Kayin, chin,(Southern and Easthern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
