BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 12th March 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Magway, Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Shan States.
