BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th March 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin State, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Shan States, scattered in Yangon, Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Yangon, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 3-5 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of rain or thundershowers with isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
