BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 23rd March 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Chin, Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of  isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing,Taninthayi  Regions and Kachin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin State.
