SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, light rain or thundershowers has been isolated in Kachin, Chin States. Weather has been generally fair weather in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C above April average temperature in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States, 2°C above April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kayin, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 44.4°C in Chauk, 42.6°C in Minbu, 42.5°C in Myingyan, 42.2°C in Magway, 42.1°C in Sinbyugyun, 42.0°C each in Nyaung Oo and Kyaukse (Lunkyaw), 41.9°C in Aunglan and 41.5°C each in Mandalay and Tada U(Avia-Met) on 3-4-2026.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair over the Northeast Bay and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Kachin State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Northern Shan States.
