SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, scattered in Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Kachin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Mon, Northern Shan States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 3°C to 4°C above April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, 2°C above April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 42.7°C in Chauk, 42.1°C in Aunglan, 42.0°C in Magway, 41.7°C in Myingyan, 41.5°C  in Minbu,  41.2°C each in Nyaung Oo, Monywa and Myinmu and  41.0°C each in Pakokku, Taungdwingyi, Sinbyugyun and Shwebo on 6-4-2026. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.46 inches in Yamethin, 1.18 inches in Pyinoolwin (Zeepyigyi), 0.86 inch in Patheingyi(Shwesayan), 0.67 inch in Pyinoolwin, 0.62 inch in Hakha, 0.47 inch in Mandalay, 0.43 inch in Sagaing, 0.39 inch in Myitnge and 0.28 inch in Kalay .

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Andaman Sea and partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 8th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Chin, (Northern and Southern) Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Eastern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States.
