BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 17th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, isolated in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern)Shan States.
