BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern)Shan States.
