BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal, generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and Central Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 18th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Napyitaw, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States.
