SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, rain or thundershowers has been widespread in Kachin, Rakhine, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States, fairly widespread in Bago Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan State and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Mon States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were 4°C above April average temperature in Taninthayi Region, 2°C above April average temperature in Kayin State and 2°C below April average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Chin State, 3°C to 4°C below April average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Upper Sagaing Regions and Rakhine, Shan States and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were 40.5°C in Kawkareik, 40.3°C in Dawei, 39.5°C in Hpa-an(Agro-Met), 39.4°C in Hpa-an, 39.2°C in Chauk, 39.0°C in Minbu, 38.7°C in Yangon(Botahtaung) and 38.6°C each in Khayan and Zaung Tu on 30-4-2026. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 1.93 inches in Myitkyina, 1.81 inches in Theinzayet, 1.22 inches in Manaung, 0.94 inch in Phyu, 0.79 inch in Kengtung, 0.73 inch in Kyaukpyu, 0.70 inch each in Pyinmana(Walgyi) and Sittwe, 0.55 inch in Hkamti, 0.51 inch in Yamethein and 0.47 inch in Taunggyi.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
