BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENINGOF THE 7th May 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Taninthayi Region, scattered in Sagaing, Region and Kachin, Chin, Mon, (Northern and Eastern)Shan States and isolated in the remaining Region and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Sagaing Region and Kachin Mon, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions.
